What’s the best kind of bottle to use when making a water bottle rocket?
I’m making a water rocket for my physics course. I was wondering what kind of bottle works best. Take into consideration the material it’s made out of (thin/typical bottled water plastic), the aerodynamics of the bottle (coefficient of drag), and the size (particularly the cross-sectional area). Thanks!
Defiantly quite think plastic. As well as weighing less, it may warp in the air to allow it to cut through more efficiently. In my school we have bottles of flavored water which would be perfect, they are thin, long and smooth. Unfortunatly, if you live in America (not England) then you may not be able to get these exact bottles 
Anyway, thin plastic and as long, think and smooth as possible.
